Delicious!! Posted by: Gabriel on 2012/05/16 12:16pm We went to Habana for the first time tonight, and it was amazingly good. We were able to confirm prior to our visit the accuracy of the vegan items from this old thread: http://veganaustin.org/topic.php?id=2647&r=34471#r34471
We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing, and their service is excellent. We had the Vegetarian Mofongo for an appetizer. It has a very unique flavor and was my favorite item that we tried. The dishes we got were the Tofu Salteado with extra veggies and the Quimbombo (okra stew). The Quimbombo was really good. The Tofu Salteado was pretty good but definitely the blander of the dishes, and I don't know that I would get it again. Pics below, except the Veg Mofongo, which was very cool looking.
Neither of us got drinks, but we do want to hit them up for Happy Hour sometime. Their drink menu looked really interesting. The atmosphere was nice too. We should try to do an Austin Vegan Drinks there some time.reply

nothing planned
