LuLu B's is a cute vietnamese sandwich cart located on S. Lamar, near oltorf (by office depot). the sandwiches can be made vegan by getting the lemongrass tofu version, without mayo (pretty standard for these types of sandwiches). the bread has no eggs in it, and is vegan. you can also add avocado for an extra $1! The employee I spoke to seemed to have a good grasp of veganism, which is a plus.

also, the vermicelli bowls with tofu are vegan. make sure you ask for no fish sauce. they also make a vegetarian fish sauce that is vegan, too. the summer rolls with tofu are vegan, because they use rice paper. Peanut sauce is vegan, too.

bubble tea can probably be made vegan, but they do not have soy milk, and they normally sweeten the tea with condensed milk. he said they could probably just use extra sugar, but i'm guessing it wouldnt be too good. all smoothies also have condensed milk in them, but it can be left out (and you can add bubbles/pearls to it for $0.25).
