The Tacos Vegetarianos, mentioned above, are AMAZING.  They feature nopalitos, soyrizo, avocado slices and mushrooms.  I highly recommend the red corn tortilla.  It is far superior to any other tortilla, in my opinion.

Also, they have vegan tamales!  I really love the veggie tamale and the pinto bean one is good too.  I think the sweet tamale may also be vegan but I am not sure.  It has raisins and things like that in it.

yeah! nopalito & veggie chorizo tacos are the shit.

The enchiladas verde w/o cheese (obv.) were totally gross. It seems like they've never even tasted them. I found them inedible. They can't be enchilada-y because the veggies are cut in very thick chunks and aren't sauteed through. So it's a big mess.

When we go, we get the soyrizo/nopalito tacos with refried black beans and rice I think. It's pretty damn awesome.

I love Curra's. I used to eat there all the time, but I haven't been in a while. The avocado margaritas rock! I always get tamales or tacos. I feel like the rice is vegan, but I can't recall if I asked or heard it through the grapevine. I'll ask next time I go (which probably won't be for a while) and post my findings on the board.

curras is pretty good. i like vivo better though. they have puffy tacos and you can get them with tofu / guac / bean / cabbage. Their beans are vegan. I am pretty sure their rice is too. Have no idea about their tortillas but they are made of corn and fried as hell. I like em bunches.

I was told by the wait staff at Curras that their rice has chicken stock in it.   Vivo has some great tofu puffy tacos and their rice is vegan (its brown rice)

1. The rice at Curra's South, when I was there (and was told it was vegan, sigh) certainly didn't TASTE like it had chicken stock in it.  It looked and tasted like fluffy white rice with peas.  Which is totally inappopriate for a Mexican plate!  I want my enchilada plate to have "Spanish" rice!  Ha ha.  Anyway, good to know.

2. Daniela, I also prefer Vivo, but I haven't met anyone else who does.  I usually get the puffy guacamole/tofu tacos, too.  And I love their hot, super cilantro-y, smoky salsa.

I love Vivo! The puffy tacos can't be beat. I love being able to get tofu at a Mexican restaurant.

Mmmmm. Puffy tacos sound good. Are the beans and the rice veggie?
