Craft Night is back! Get a head start on your single appreciation day cards or women's history month pennants.

We're meeting at Circa 13, Epoch's sister store:

2700 W Anderson Lane
Suite 409
Austin, Texas

It's in the same shopping center as the Alamo Village.

RSVP on the calendar. I'll have a sign with the VRA logo on the table so that you can find us.

Do you know what vegan options they have at Circa 13?

Good question! I'm not sure.  It definitely looks like they have a bigger menu than Epoch.  I'll contact them and ask.

I contacted Circa 13 several times via Facebook. They responded to my first email saying that they'd ask the kitchen and never got back to me. I followed up asking if they heard anything, but nothing. They posted a bowl of vegan lentil soup on their page, but it's still not clear whether it's on their regular menu.

I'm going to guess that they haven't figured out their vegan situation yet and we'll be going into craft night without knowing for sure. I'll keep working on it just to get some answers for the future. Maybe I can ask one of the kitchen staff while we're there.

This is really disappointing. I was hoping that this would be a good substitute for Alamo food. I've been really frustrated with the Drafthouse's menu and thought that Circa 13 would have better vegan food to eat before or after movies. Guess I'll have to make other arrangements.

Yesterday Jacob had Vegan Nom tacos that were packaged and ready to go for ~$3.00 each.  Not sure of the other options.

Yeah I was craving Vegan Nom, but didn't want to drive a long distance to their new location.  Luckily, Ross told me that I could get them at Circa 13.  They are pre-made tacos, so not as fresh as ordering from Vegan Nom; but when you are getting them to go anyways, they're super convenient option for taco cravings.

When you are looking for the place, the sign says "Epoch Coffee" and in smaller font below, "Circa Thirteen".  I think it might be in the same location where Texpresso was.

Looking at their info, I think they only serve food (sandwiches, soup, salads) at lunch time anyway. Same with tacos. They're only available until noon.

Cassandra, while it isn't as close, there are a ton of fast casual places with vegan options across the street in the parking lot with Walmart. Tarka, Noodles and Co, Phonatic, Which Wich, Salad Works.
