Hey Guys-

I'm doing a piece for my blog where I try to find the best vegan burrito in Austin.  There aren't many places here at all that have vegan burritos on their menus, but from looking at whole menus I figure a lot of people can whip them up upon request.  I've made a list of places and I'm going to try all of these, but please let me know if you know about any other places that make or can make vegan burritos:

Vegan Yacht
Whole Foods
Freebirds
Chuys
Chipotle
Cabo Bob's
ZuZu Handmade Mexican Food
Super Burrito
Taqueria Arandas
Chango's
Burrito Factory

Soul Food Burrito (sweet pots/greens/rice/beans/cashew cheeze and BBQ Sauce) is going to be added to the permanent menu at Counter Culture real soon!

Right now the Breakfast Burrito is Brunch only (tofu scramble, poblano, corn, black beans, avocado, potatoes, sausage and cashew cheeze)

Mr. Natural has a burrito, but it's not labeled as vegan on their menu so I'm not sure what's up with that.

La Salsa off of Far West has a burrito that is vegan if you get it without the cheese. It's not knock your socks off good, but it's a reliable option for the neighborhood. They do have a pretty good salsa bar.

Is this going to make its way to North Wheatsville too?

It's a South Lamar only for now. If it's a HUGE hit, we may do what we would need to do to offer them at Guad. (this would likely require some major moving around of workflow and whatnot...)
