Why haven't I heard of this before today? The first waste-free store is now open in Austin!

http://in.gredients.com/

Now open at 2610 Manor Road

Bring your own reusable containers, or get some there to use, and everything is in bulk! Love this idea! Has anyone been here yet?

Yeah, they've been building some buzz for a while now. I haven't been yet, but Molly just made a blog post about it, which pretty much sums up the general feelings out there.

I've been a couple of times. Go check it out, it's cute!

Hopefully they'll add more vegan items and scale back on the whole "meat club" thing... but we'll just have to see.

I'm so far North, I really just end up going to Sprouts anyway. I haven't even been to Wheatsville yet!
I'll get there eventually awesome

I went today. It was cute! Hopefully they get some more vegan essentials, but I was really excited to see bulk toiletries, cleaners and detergents.

Just in case anyone doesn't know, you can take your own containers to Wheatsville as well. Just get them weighed at the register before you shop. And they have soap and so on in bulk, too. It's with the other cleaning supplies and toiletries.

You can also just weigh them on their digital scale back in the bulk section as well.
