Hey guys! We've been doing some deep cleaning around our house and are getting rid of lots of things from furniture and clothes to electronics and kitchen appliances. All the proceeds from the sale of our items is going to Sunny Day Farms Animal Sanctuary. Feel free to stop by!
Have some stuff to get rid of but don't want to do your own yardsale? Message me and we can figure out a time for pickup/drop off. Let me sell your things for you, as long as you're fine with donating your sales.
The sale is this Saturday, March 24th, from 8am-noon at my house, 5501 S Hearsey Dr. Hope to see you there!
(Will also be selling some muffins, danishes and water excited )

Yay! So far, Sunny Day is getting $278 from this morning's sale. I'm also posting lots of leftovers on craigslist in lots. Hopefully I can hand them $300+ in cash next week when Bobby and I go to volunteer.
Thank you to Jess and Gabriel for donating two truckloads of awesome stuff, which brought in over $100!
If you're in the market for clothing, furniture or otherwise at a good price, head over to Craigslist and search 'sunny day' and you'll see some of the remainders from this morning. That is, if you haven't already been spammed by my posts on FB awesome

Man, I am so mad I missed out on bringing you some stuff since I'm about to move. I haven't been online as much getting ready to move to another state. Bummer. I would have loved to help out.

So sorry Jacinda! If you haven't actually moved yet, you're welcome to bring your stuff by. I'll be having another in June, just gotta figure out when, and can hang on to your things until then.

Ok, FINALLY got my schedule straightened out! I'll be having another yard sale August 4th, 8am to noon.
Feel free to bring over whatever you're trying to get rid of, and I'll sort through and price it all.
Don't hesitate to bring anything- I was able to group partially used containers of toiletries, clearly marking them 'used', and sold them for $5-$10 per bag, depending on contents. I did the same with air fresheners- candles, room sprays, incense, etc.
Please wash your clothes (or at least make sure they're clean) before dropping them off.
I plan to bake some muffins and such again, and have a separate table displaying these along with drinks.
Proceeds will benefit Sunny Day Farms.

I will definitely go attic digging for this. Cool idea. I'll be working that morning, so will I be able to drop stuff off earlier?

Fo sho! Bring it on. Just let me know when you're ready, and we can work out when to pick up/drop off. If its large furniture, I'll need a little lead time to rearrange the garage and make room.
And please, spread the word- coworkers, acquaintances, non-veg friends, the more the merrier. If I've got room in my garage to store it, I'll take it! Last time raised several hundred dollars, and that was just with Jess, Gabriel, Bobby and me.

Great. My stuff won't take up much space. Just some bike  gear, a chair or 2 & probably clothing.

Thanks so much for doing this again. happy

So, between the heat and thefts, this morning didn't go so well. $78 between 7:45 and 10:30, so I closed up early. However, I've now listed several items on Craigslist!
Go to http://austin.craigslist.org/ and search Sunny Day Farms to see the listings. Remember, the proceeds are going to help with feed and vet care for the animals of Sunny Day! excited
