A couple years ago I tried doing the master cleanse. I went for about 6 days, then had to quit. By the end of it I was very light headed and was having trouble just functioning. I'm not convinced it has the benefits thay people say it has, but it was definitely an interesting experience. If nothing else, it changes the way you look at food, sort of resets your eating habits back to something more natural. I think the benifits are largley psychological, you go though an ordeal and feel cleansed afterwards.

i'm now in my 3rd day on the first cleanse stuff, nothing too notable at the moment, i'm juice "fasting" currently. jesus christ, the carrot-beet-cucumber-ginger juice i made was intense this morning.

but if i haven't started getting better after this whole thing then i'll go in with you kayla/rebecca and we can make an order of the colonix stuff, since it's cheaper if you buy 2 or 3, and then we can all post our monster pictures with a thumbs up.

No way would I ever post my poop pics! LOL. I am saving for it as well. I am halfway through the first cleanse. Boring... I think I should do a juice fast as well. Maybe this will add some excitement to the mix. LOL.

yeah, that shit's serious.  i'd check with a doctor before proceeding with something like that.
but i'm curious, too, and wonder if it could help people without any current problems, because it did make me want to find out if i could be healthier.

alright- well i finished my "first cleanse" a couple days ago, it did help me while i was on it, and i think raw foods/juices helped my "movements" while i was doing it, but i don't think it fixed it. "first cleanse" did help me have consistent potty breaks, and only a couple times did i have to go quickly to the bathroom, so it was manageable. i still need to try some probiotics cause i think one of my problems is probably the imbalance of the bacteria in there. whatdya think? should i try getting the good bacteria back or hop in with colonix?

Well, I have to report almost the same as Ross. I did feel like I was eliminating all that I was ingesting, but did not have the "amazing" results that the www.drnutra.com site tells of. Since I did not try the online product; I only tried a cleanse from Whole Foods... I figured I cannot discount cleanses yet. I liked that it was not violent or rushed. I may not have the disgusting colon issues that the people online do, but I won't know for sure until I try something more extreme.

Question: would a hydracolon session completely clean the colon or is there no one shot way? I need to research.

By the way... I accidently brushed a piece of wood with my foot, impaling a nice HUGE splinter all the way through my pinky toe. I went to my dentist's house to see if he could pull it (I hate hospitals and did not want to pay several hundred dollars to pull a splinter), but he could not get it out. It would not budge. So I ended up at the emergency room. It took 20 minutes to numb the toe and pull it out with forcepts. Period. Guess how much that cost me....

$1,040. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT CRAP?!!! I should've showed up at Matt's house and made him pull it. LOL. I am so mad!

jesus christ! i hate hospitals...

but your foot's ok right?

anyway, i've been drinking psyllium husk and bentonite clay to try to help things, so far not helping things, i'm still having problems going.

foot is fine...it's the bill that hurts. LOL.

When I would get gut-stuck, I would drink something very strong like apricot juice or eat a bag of frozen blueberries... yummy! Actually, my favorite remedy is to make a raspberry smoothie with a non-opaque base. The little seeds really work wonders. You can do raspberry/aloe smoothie. Yummy!

I could live on smoothies though. I love avacado/pear smoothies the most. Weird, I know. They may not help as much as the raspberry, but it tastes really good. The consistency is strange, but worth the flavors.

medical costs are terrible.

so you wanna do this? chris e asked me last night if i was sure that stuff is supposed to be coming out of us, or if it's something important that's supposed to stay in there. but i'm pretty certain that this crap is not supposed to stay inside you, not to mention all the people saying how relieved they felt afterwards.

yeah it is really expensive... it'd be 50 bucks each if we ordered 3 at a time...i just wish i knew what was different about this one than all the others...and pysllium husk, which is one of the main ingredients, is sooo cheap...ah well, i still think i'm willing to do it if you guys are.
