Hey Austin vegans and friends, it's been a (very) long time coming, but I finally got my Celeste's Best Ready-To-Bake Cookie Dough on the shelves! It is available at Wheatsville Co-op and I hope to make it available at other stores soon. Right now the only flavor is Chocolate Chip, but my goal is to release more flavors in the coming months. I was thinking Oatmeal Cranberry-Raisin next, then Double-Chocolate Walnut. Or Peanut Butter? Snickerdoodle? What do y'all think?
Also, this is NOT meant to sound like a commercial, but if any VRA-ers do  buy some dough, I'd love to hear any and all feedback, either through email or through my website. Thanks!

This news is too awesome to be considered a commercial.  It's more like a PSA and everyone should be aware happy

Ha! +1

It's important for local vegan businesses to publicize things like this. No worries about the "commercial", Celeste.

Ha, your comment made me laugh, Iron Clad Ben. Well, thanks for the support and excitement that everyone has shown.  Austin has the best vegans anywhere!
Thanks to all of you, Wheatsville sold out of the cookie dough in a day and a half! Yay! I'm bringing more Monday morning and hopefully I can work out an ordering schedule with them so running out won't be a problem.
   Thank you so much everyone!

I had some the other night and they were delicious!  I'm excited to make some for my co-workers this week and will let you know what the non-vegans-who-must-be-tricked-into-eating-vegan-things think!

I haven't had a chance to get some yet but my vote for the next flavor would be Oatmeal Cranberry-Raisin.  Sounds awesome.

Update: the dough has been selling out at Wheatsville nearly every week! I'm so appreciative (and amazed) of the support of the veg community.
As of today, it is also available at Farm To Market Grocery on South Congress.
I will be doing a demo w/ free samples of warm cookies at Wheatsville this Monday from 1-4. Come by if you can!

I picked some up tonight. It'll probably be eaten before it has a chance to make it to the oven.

Does it have to be kept in the fridge or in the freezer?
(wants to put it in milkshakes for Sweet Ritual!)

Amelia- it's sold refrigerated, but I've been testing out freezing and so far it's held up beautifully!

I got some on Wednesday! I was totally the sterotypical pregnant lady buying cookie dough with absolutely no intention to bake it... So decadent!
