Hi everyone!

The Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale is just around the corner.  Austin's participation in this awesome event is officially scheduled for...

Saturday, April 24th at The Snack Bar!

This year, we would like to extend the bake sale to include crafts and all homemade goodness.  All artists, crafters, and bakers are encouraged to participate in making this bake sale even bigger and better than last year!

If you are interested in volunteering your time or donating your goods, please feel free to send me an email.  After spring break, I will be sending out an email to all volunteers to get the planning party started!

For now, we need your help in choosing a non-profit organization to benefit from Austin's Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale.  To nominate an organization, please reply to this post or send me an email (if you prefer anonymity).  We will then list the nominees and post (survey style) for all to vote.  Please have your nominations submitted by Tuesday, March 23rd.  The survey will be up and available for voting from Wednesday, March 24th - Wednesday, April 7th.

This is going to be great!

Hey guys!  Nominations are in and only one group was suggested - Austin Pets Alive!  With all the hard work they have done and with the recent passing of the No Kill Implementation Plan, it's no wonder that this group was nominated over and over.

Now, it's time to start planning your baked goods, crafts, art, etc.

April 24th is the day and Snack Bar is the place.  Once we have a time nailed down, I'll post another update.

Thanks to everyone who emailed me suggesting Austin Pets Alive.  I'm sure they will be very happy to participate in the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale!

thanks kristen! i drafted one up and just need to plug in the time, but i'm sure you would do a much better job than i.  i'm definitely no graphic artist, so i appreciate the offer.

i agree about the google doc.  the first time i ever used one was for the Haiti bake sale.  it worked great!
