That place could never get fancy enough to warrant charging that price.

As an aside, I find it interesting that they'll be open on a Sunday.

Yowza!! I could feed 10ppl a 5-course meal on $75! I appreciate that they are doing a Valentines Dinner, but that's just a bit more than I'm willing to spend.

One of the great things about being single is that I can save seventy dollars and eat a popcorn tofu poboy instead ;-)

Ha! I will do a Counter Culture V-day Brunch.  Maybe if you come alone you get $1 off?  If you leave with someone you didn't know an hour beforehand I'll give you  $10?   happy

$75 for Mr Natural!?  Insane - they don't even entice with a menu.  Looks like the same thing you can get every other day of the year for $8.

I can't wait to hear what the special will be at Counter Culture.

he he.  I hope I haven't ruined that sandwich for you guys.  picturing myself reenacting a certain scene from American Pie with that popcorn tofu hoagie is slightly uncomfortable.  don't think I haven't thought about it though.

For vday we're making stuffed chickpea cutlets (flavored Italian).
They'll be stuffed with tomatoes and vegan cheese. Then baked with yummy sauce and topped with more cheese.

Like chickpea cutlet parmesan but STUFFED!

You seriously haven't heard of it?  One of the best sandwiches in Austin.  Vegan crack on a bun.  Wheatsville's deli.  Damn, I want one now.

And please don't follow Craig's lead and try to have sex with it. :P
