A while ago I stopped by Habana which I went to a few times when I was vegetarian a few years ago and stopped to see what EXACTLY was vegan here goes...

http://www.habana.com/index.html

*THESE ARE ALL VEGAN*

Yuca Con Mojo

White Rice

Arroz COn Gandules

Congres

Black Beans (red beans NOT vegan)

Quimbombo (my favorite and recommendation)

Tofu Salteado

Vegetariano Salteado

Sandwhich Vegetariano

Vegetarian Mofongo

***THESE ARE ALL VEGAN BUT ARE FRIED IN THE SAME OIL AS MEAT ETC. ETC. *****

Tostones

Yuca Frita

Empanda (spinach and mushroom) ..might want to double check to make sure about dough.?

Tofu Frito

Mariquitas (w/ "Mojo De Ajo" NOT "Mojo" sauce which isan't vegan)

El Vegetarino  (this is big sampler plate..so you can chose stuff that is fried in the meat-shared oil or not ...)

Might be a decent place for a meetup. Its pretty tasty food and cuban food has some good flavors going on...especially if you like plantains.

There is a location right across from st.eds and also one downtown, idk about seating downtown but the SOCO location is pretty open and can probably accomodate.

EDIT

aparently their downtown location has a party room, which may or may not be necessary.
