I live in plano, actually, it's a bit away. And I'm lonely, as I've sworn off dating meat-eaters (I tried dating them, it doesn't work for me.) So there's no one. And I'd like someone to talk to, even if we couldn't meet. Slightlyinsane24 is my AIM, I'm on right now... go for it. You know you want to.

I know a pretty hot vegan bi-sexual girl in Plano.... if you swing that way.

You could always try those veggie dating websites.

veggiedate.org is one of them. I think vegconnection.com may be another.

I'm not sure what you'll find in a more rural area in your age range, but it's worth a shot.

Rural? Plano's hardly rural. But there don't seem to be any vegans here regardless of how many people we have.

hrmm...I guess I was thinking of somewhere else. My bad. Good luck finding someone. I'm not sure how the vegan single scene is here, but if you're looking for veg friends, you'll find plenty of good people if you ever come down to Austin!

I currently live in Dallas & work in Plano (definitely not rural- but no harm done!!)

I certainly understand your frustration in the relationship department... I'm relocating to Austin in a couple of months; I was lured by the over all veg-friendliness.

Have you tried any of the DFW veg groups? www.vegetariandallas.com has had some cool potlucks and "cooking" meetups which I've attended in the past. There are several vegans in the group; although I'm not sure how active they are right now. you may want to contact ricky- RickyBurke@comcast.net ...he can fill you in on any events planned out (since the website has been under construction for a long time now)

I think the dallas veg meetup seems worth a shot as well. anyway, good luck! awesome
