1 cup vegetable broth
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 lb red lentils (about 1/2 cup), rinsed
1/2 lb spinach leaves, washed
1 one-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
1 T canola oil
1/2 t cumin
1 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
Fresh lemon juice to taste
1 pinch sugar
Black pepper to taste
