3/4 cup agave nectar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup softened/melted vegan butter substitute (I use Earth Balance)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Vegan equivalent of 1 egg (I use Ener-G Egg Replacer)
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 bag (2 cups-ish) vegan chocolate chips (I use different brands, but I highly recommend Enjoy Life)
A dash or two of cinnamon


Preheat oven to 375 degrees Farenheit.
In a large bowl, stir egg replacer, sugar, agave, butter substitute, vanilla, and cinnamon until well blended.
Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt.  The dough will be stiff.
Stir in chocolate chips.
On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown.  Stick a fork into a cookie of your choice, and if it comes out clean other than melty chocolate, the cookies are ready.
Let them cool slightly and remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.  Let them cool some more on the cooling racks.
