Chazz Sauce - i.e. macaroni and Chazz posted by Tater Tot


Chazz's sauce!
1 1/4 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Soy Milk
1/4 Cup Flour
1/3 Cup Nutritional Yeast
2 Tbs Margarine
1 Tbs Corn Starch
1 tbs Tamari
1 tsp Salt
1 - 2 tsp Cumin
1 tsp black pepper
1-3 tsp Tony Chachere's Creole, or other favorite all purpose seasoning


Melt butter in pot with flour on low heat, slowly add water. Much like preparing a roux.  
Add Tamari, and spices
Simmer for 5 minutes while stirring

If sauce turns out quite thick, adding water or replacing soymilk for water in recipe would help a thinner consistency.

Great with macaroni product of your choice, or if cooked down thicker it's great for cheezi migas, queso, or philly sauce. Add thick salsa and avocado to make your own chip and dip party!

The measurements are strange which is due to my mutilation of an exsisting recipe and documenting what made it taste acceptable to me. Tastes better the more times you multiply the recipe so this is a great potluck item.
